Activities & Adventure Sports With Our ‘Group Of Friends’

Social Group members are offered a wide choice of indoor activities, outdoor activities, leisure activities, walks, days out, and thrilling adventure sports, taking place across the region, and all with the good company of our ‘group of friends’ to share the experience with.

With good times, good value, and good company, it’s not surprising that our professionally-organised group activities are amongst the most exciting things we do. Lots of people tell us they love a challenge and being able to try new things. Lots say they enjoy participating in something more interesting.

We feature activities to suit a variety of tastes, fitness, abilities, and pockets. There should be something to appeal to almost everyone.

We offer a different choice of activities each month. We aim to vary what we do all the time, intending to allow members to do all kinds of different activities and try as much as possible.

Indoor activities take place throughout the year. Previously these have included bowling, table tennis, quasar, skiing, badminton, karting, scuba diving lesson, climbing, tennis, swimming, spa days, pottery painting, behind the scenes tours, and so on.

Outdoor activities take place throughout the year, but there are fewer in winter when we have to be cautious of bad weather. Previously these have included walks, cycling, boat trips, high rope adventure course, paintball, horse riding, archery, clay shooting, falconry, canoeing, parachute jumps, quad biking, gliding, zorbing, coasteering, segway riding, surfing, karting, abseiling, light aircraft flying lesson, adventure caving, hot air balloon ride, miniature golf, wine tasting, zoo visit, theme park rollercoaster rides, and so on.

Abroad, via Social Group Holidays, we have previously offered Thai jungle elephant trekking, Sinai Desert camel riding, Australian Outback safari, Lake Garda boat trip, Caribbean Rainforest river tubing, Florida Everglades airboat ride, Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding, Red Sea scuba diving, Crete Samaria Gorge hiking, Ningaloo Reef snorkeling, Caribbean swimming with dolphins, Singapore night zoo visit, Thai sea cave canoe adventure, Death Valley guided tour, San Diego zoo visit, Venice gondola ride, Las Vegas indoor skydiving, Utah rodeo, and so on.

Most of the outdoor activities take place during the day on Saturday and Sunday, with indoor activities taking place throughout the week.
